The 1st event was on the 31st of Jan, the EcoWorld Starlight New Year Concert at Eco Majestic Semenyih. Being a hardcore fan of LeeHom, I collected my tickets super early even before everyone was discussing about it. Asked my friend to drop by Eco Majestic Showroom to write down some particulars and there we go, 4 free standing tickets! Woots!
So on the event day, Semenyih was packed and jammed! I’ve been studying in Semenyih for the 4th year now and I never see Semenyih so packed before. This is the power of LeeHom! Lol. Or maybe the power of free concert. Ah, and so, we reached the concert venue at around 8pm because of the traffic. Luckily the concert hasn’t started. The organizers were so kind to prepare us big plastics so that we can sit on it like having a picnic. The crowd was huge, around 30k audiences according to the newspapers. We sat on the grass, put our shoes aside and enjoyed the time of our lives! It was quite far away from the stage, we were not able to see the performers but luckily there was a big LED screen in front of us, we did not miss a thing!
There were 4 performers, but I am only interested in my one and only LeeHom! He was the finale as expected. He began his performance with <Cracked Heart>, a new song from his latest album <Your Love>. A super difficult song to sing because the whole song is in high pitch! The audience screamed and yelled when he appeared on the stage. Cameras and phones were all raised up in the air to capture all his actions. I am a proud fan haha. He sang around 13 songs if I am not mistaken. Around an hour long of performance. Most of the screaming from the audience happened when he was playing the piano, like a charming prince. We all enjoyed his performance really much although we could not see him because we were too far away. The crowd sang along with him peacefully like a big group of choir. We yelled for encore and screamed his name, “LEEHOM!! LEEHOM!!”. He ended his performance with 唯一. Fireworks then was shot into the sky, it was so beautiful! Everyone was looking at it, making a wish in their heart for a better year this year.
Thank you EcoWorld for bringing LeeHom here to us. Thank you for bringing us so much fun and a memorable night to remember. We enjoyed ourselves really much that night!
2nd event was held on the 1st of Feb in Pavilion KL. LeeHom’s new album <Your Love> autograph session.
The event was at 5pm but at around 2.15pm when I reached, the place was already full of excited fans holding his albums in their hands. I pre ordered the international version of the album from the Homaniacs earlier, so I got an album and a calendar! Got into the crowd and waited for LeeHom. It was really packed and it was so so hard to find a nice standing/sitting spot, we sat/stood on the stairs at the center court and waited. At 5pm sharp, the host, Jeff Chin came up on stage and the fans went crazy because we all knew who will be coming up next. In a white shirt with jeans and shades, LeeHom appeared and waved to the crowd. So so handsome so so charming! The host interviewed him and the media threw him questions to answer. Then started the autograph session. Patiently we waited for our turns, excited although being squeezed in the crowd and someone even farted my gosh! We were ushered into the queue and systematically lined up and followed the organizers’ order. When it was finally my turn, I was so excited I went blank, my album was already been signed when I was just in front of LeeHom, the guard ushered me down the stage but I was not satisfied. I MUST SHAKE HANDS WITH LEEHOM. So pitifully I looked at LeeHom while I extend my hand towards him, and then, HE GRABBED MY HAND, and looked at me with his eyes opened wide. I DID IT! We shook hands!! Then I happily walked down the stage with my signed album. BEST 30 seconds in my life! LOL.
Thank you LeeHom, for coming to meet your fans, signing their album and performing. You made a beautiful ending for our January and started a wonderful February. And of course, thank you for making such amazing and meaningful songs. You made your fans so proud.
